My research program at Virginia Tech is rooted in applied entomological science, with a primary focus on vegetables and select row crops. I am committed to addressing the real-world challenges faced by growers through practical, field-based research. My work emphasizes collaborative problem-solving, integrating grower input and regional needs to develop sustainable, science-driven solutions that enhance productivity, crop health, and profitability through integrated pest management strategies. By bridging research and extension, the goal of my program is to deliver timely, actionable insights that directly benefit the agricultural community on Virginia’s Eastern Shore and beyond.
