About Xing

Xing Wei's Ph.D. research aims to 1) develop a sensor-based method to detect stem rot of peanut utilizing sensor technologies and machine learning and 2) evaluate fungicides with different modes of action to manage the soilborne diseases of peanut. The ultimate goal is to provide growers and crop consultants with a sensor-based detection method/tool and proper fungicide recommendations to improve disease control and crop yields in peanuts.
