Graduate student presenting research

Join us in congratulating this incredible scientist, Thet Aung, on a fantastic thesis defense "Developing Cultivated Mollusks Through Establishing Primary Cell Culture Methods of Eastern Oyster, Crassostrea virginica, as a Model Bivalve" last week. Her time at our research center included moves, discoveries, and many, many hours shucking oysters. Thet, a graduate student in the Department of Food Science and Technology, will be missed around our office, but we can't wait to see where her curiosity takes her next!
