Nanobubble applications in food systems and the development of the next generation of nanobubbles generators explored at VSAREC summit

Some great ideas are bubbling up at our center this week. Reza Ovissipour and Taozhu Sun from our Future Foods Lab spoke at a summit about nanobubbles applications in food systems and the development of the next generation of nanobubble generators.

They showed that nanobubbles could be used to remove biofilms, improve water quality, and remove bacteria from fresh produce. The next generation of nanobubble generators does not need any gas injection, and it is a cost-effective system for sustainable food production.
