Interests in learning about technological advances and identifying and employing alternative pest management practices are growing among producers; however, they also echo the associated economic risks of reducing their reliance on pesticides. Using technology in the decision-making, evaluating chemical, cultural and biological control approaches in managing pests, and reaching out to both large and small-scale producers have formed the framework of my Extension efforts.
