How to get to the conference?
- Fly Direct : The closest airport to us is Norfolk International Airport (ORF) in Norfolk, VA, USA (https://www.norfolkairport.com/). This airport has connections to any major international airport in the USA (https://www.norfolkairport.com/where-we-fly/?nonstop-destinations).
- Train: Another option is to fly into a major northeast USA airport hub [Newark (EWR), Baltimore(BWI), Boston (BOS)] and take the Northeast Regional Amtrak train to Norfolk, VA (https://www.amtrak.com/routes/northeast-regional-train.html) (do not use the Newport News train).
- Bus: The slowest and probably most difficult option (But you’ll see the most) is the Greyhound bus service. They go to any major USA city. https://www.greyhound.com/
- Other means of transportation are available to navigate to the conference from the airport, train station or bus station. Share rides (Lyft, Uber, Wave Riders) and taxi companies can be found at the following link: https://www.norfolkairport.com/ground-transportation/.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
Traditional taxi (most expensive, but you walk up from baggage claim and simply go), Uber, or Lyft. Depending on surge need, sometimes Lyft is cheaper, sometimes Uber.
